Alex is the Communications Officer at London CLT and is responsible for development of of its communications strategy to engage its membership and raise wider public awareness. Her role also involves maintenance of communications on the LCLT’s owned media channels and promoting events.
Alex has experience working in the advertising industry and has developed and implemented media campaigns for a wide range of global clients including global health charities as part of a United Nations initiative. She is now studying an MSc in Urban Regeneration at the Bartlett School of Planning, UCL. She is keen to learn how urban development can be fairer so that local communities have a much greater say in the shaping of the places in which they live.
Alex currently lives in Bow, Tower Hamlets and is in close proximity to the first ever London CLT site in St. Clement’s, Mile End. As a neighbour of a LCLT site, she is very happy to know that a community like this exists close by. She has enjoyed getting to know its residents and working with them to develop a future public community space.
