Lourdes is the Clerk to the Board for the London CLT and has previously worked in the Department of Education of the Catalan government. She also has a great deal of experience as an administrator for small enterprises in her hometown of Barcelona. After moving to London she became a secondary school language teacher and in her spare time she volunteers at the V&A Museum of Childhood in Bethnal Green as a tour guide.
The London CLT matters to her because she is passionate about supporting her community and believes that there should be more affordable homes for people in London. She thinks that people should not have to move away from their relatives or jobs and live in poor conditions because of house price inflation. She came across the London CLT as she is a private resident on the St Clement’s site in Bow and has seen first-hand how the organisation’s mission has come to life.
