Hannah Emery-Wright
Communities Manager
Hannah is the Communities Manager at London CLT and has been with the CLT since 2016. Her role involves supporting communities at different stages of our work. Facilitating community steering groups during the design and build process of CLT homes, prospective residents through allocations and handover, and working with CLT residents to set-up resident management structures and build relationships in their new neighbourhood, as well as supporting the team with key relationships and strategy throughout London and Europe.
Having worked in community led housing for 7 years she is familiar with multiple aspects of site development and management. Previous roles included: coordination and fundraising for a criminal justice start-up and prisoners’ advice charity and relationship management at the UN Refugee Agency. She graduated with an MSc in International Development from the University of Bristol in 2014.
Coming from a missionary family, but rooted in the South West of England and having called Hackney home for 10 years Hannah has always found community wherever she goes and loves to enable connections between people.
