Sylvia Levy

Communications Manager and Operations Lead
Sylvia (she/her) manages communications for London CLT, covering strategy, partnerships and research, writing reports and grant/award applications, graphic design and social media, events and member communications, as well as being the clerk for the London CLT Board, managing Human Resources and IT for the organisation, and supporting on project work, community engagement, research and administration.
Prior to joining, she worked at the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine, focusing on the nexus of agriculture, food systems, nutrition and health, as well as at Global Health Strategies on diverse issues from mental health to antimicrobial resistance and pandemic preparedness. Sylvia is a graduate of Georgetown University’s Walsh School of Foreign Service and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Science, Technology and International Affairs, with a concentration in Global Health.
Outside of work, she's an avid saxophonist playing with local jazz bands, including the East London Community Band. Sylvia is involved with the local Jewish community as a member of New Stoke Newington Shul. She also speaks Mandarin Chinese.
