Help shape the future of permanently affordable housing in London.

Do you believe everyone should be able to afford to live in the communities they know and love?

Residents, partners and supporters celebrating the delivery of new permanently affordable homes at London CLT's Citizens House development

Are you an experienced development professional looking for a role where you can make a lasting social impact?

London Community Land Trust is looking for an exceptional Development Manager to help deliver the next generation of genuinely and permanently affordable homes across London.

This is a unique opportunity to join one of the UK's leading community-led housing organisations at an exciting stage of our growth. Working closely with our Executive Director, Board and development partners, you'll lead community-led housing projects from early appraisal through to completion while helping shape our future development programme.

Unlike many development roles, this position offers genuine breadth and strategic influence. You'll oversee a growing portfolio of projects, build partnerships, support funding opportunities and ensure every development remains rooted in the needs of local communities.

We're looking for someone with experience in residential development, regeneration or affordable housing who combines strong commercial awareness with excellent project management skills and a commitment to creating lasting social value.

The role is offered on a part-time basis (2.5 days per week) with hybrid working from our Spitalfields office and an initial two-year fixed-term contract.

If you'd like to help tackle one of London's biggest social challenges, we'd love to hear from you.
